Ernest Edward Brown, 87, of Clovis, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005.
He was born on March 31, 1917, in Talala, Okla., to James Albert and Luzena O. Scott Brown.
He moved to New Mexico in 1928 from Oklahoma. He lived in Albuquerque for 57 years prior to moving to Clovis in 1997. He retired from Swartzman Packing Co. in 1982 after 42 years of service.
He was preceded in death by two sons, James Ernest Brown and Walter Edward Brown; a daughter, Frances Wanda Scott; and a sister, Edith Estes.
He is survived by his wife, Aulena J. Brown of Clovis; two daughters, Darline Howard (and husband, Don) of Clovis and Kathrine Powers of Mesa, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lucille Blaine of Riverbank, Calif.
Visitation is scheduled from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. today at French Mortuary, University Boulevard Chapel in Albuquerque.
