Police were dispatched Thursday to a hotel in the 2700 block of East Mabry Street in reference to a criminal damage report.

The housekeeping staff said when they entered the room, it smelled like marijuana. On a table they found cigar tobacco and possible marijuana seeds, they said, which they threw away.
In the bathroom the officer examined the hole but was unable to determine how the damage was caused.
The manager did not wish to pursue charges but said the damage would be charged to the account on the room.
