Mrs. Linnie Mae Donoho Crook, 85, of Farwell, died Thursday, March 3, 2005, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.
She was born on July 3, 1919, in Elsmore, Kan., to Leonard and Bessie Mae Donoho.
She married Howard Ruben Clark on June 14, 1934, in Fort Scott, Kan. They moved to Bovina in 1937 and then to Farwell in 1952. She worked for the Hamlin Memorial United Methodist Church and Farwell schools, as a summer driver for Head Start. Family members said she enjoyed writing poems and painting. She was a member of the Farwell Study Club and the Senior Citizens of Texico-Farwell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 12 half-brothers and sisters; a great-grandchild, Chylee Nicole; and a son-in-law, Pat Worley.
Survivors include six children, Eurith Marie Jones (and husband, Orville Dean) of Mesquite, Texas, Stella Murlene Smith of Farwell, Gari Lynn Worley of Point Pleasant, W.Va., Darrell Leon Crook of Farwell, Randy Bruce Crook (Robin) of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Jaquetta Chylee Crook Walterschied of Carlsbad; 11 gandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great great-grandson.
The Rev. Randy Crook will officiate the services with the Rev. Scott Spitsberg assisting.
Burial will be at Sunset Terrace Memorial Cemetery in Farwell.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hamlin Memorial United Methodist Church Memorial Fund in Farwell.
