PORTALES — Eastern New Mexico University football coach Mark Ribaudo has announced the signing of two incoming freshmen to national letters of intent — safety Adrian Dorsey of R.L. Turner High School in Irving, Texas, and linebacker Tim Roy of Copperas Cove (Texas) High School.
Dorsey and Roy bring to nine the total number of players signed this spring by Ribaudo and his staff.
Both teams were first-team all-district selections as seniors, and Roy recorded more than 100 tackles during the 2004 campaign.
“(Dorsey) is a terrific athlete; he’s really going to help our secondary,” Ribaudo said. “Tim is a very good linebacker (with) a nose for the ball. I think he’ll fit into our system well.”
