Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:

Police were notified Sunday that a yellow 2003 Suzuki motorcycle was stolen from the front yard of a residence in the 1300 block of South Prince Street.

A press release from the police department showed that the bike has a black seat and LBZ written in gold lettering on the front fender. The bike was probably taken between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday evening, the release showed.

Clovis police are asking for help solving this crime. Anyone who has information about the stolen bike can call Crime Stoppers at 763-7000.

Police made contact Friday with a woman who said the previous day she had gone into a local retailer and left her car doors unlocked.

She said that when she returned from the store, she noticed that someone had gotten in her car and stolen two check books.

The accounts were already canceled, she said.

There are no suspects at this time.

Police responded Friday to the 100 block of El Camino Street in reference to a criminal damage.

The complainant said someone drove by and shot his window with a paint-ball gun.

The man didn’t see the assailant or the vehicle driven in the alleged shooting.
