Mrs. Lola Mae Landrum, 85, of Farwell, Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
She was born on Jan. 6, 1920, in Wise County, Texas, to Lee and Malinda Young Golaway.
She was a longtime resident of Farwell and was a member of the Texico Assembly of God Church. Family members said she loved to sing, do crafts and word search puzzles, visit with anyone and everyone, and loved going to church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Charlie, Andrew and Frank Golaway; two sisters, Marjorie Katherine Golaway and Mary Jane Englant; and a granddaughter, Nicole Long.
Survivors include her husband, Douglas Landrum of Farwell; three sons, Champ Landrum of Lubbock, Jack Landrum (and wife, Becky) and Jerry Landrum (Lorena), all of Farwell; five daughters, Betty Coglon of Exira, Iowa, Colene Lane and Kay Landrum, both of Farwell, Cindy Long (David) of Goldsboro, N.C., and Shelly Oldham (Jess) of Guthrie, Okla.; a sister, Belle Douglass of Guthrie; a brother, Jim Golaway of Spring Valley, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
The Rev. Bob Burris will officiate the services with the Rev. Dale Griswold assisting.
Burial will be at Sunset Terrace Memorial Cemetery in Farwell.
Pallbearers are Floyd Englant, Champ, Mike, and Jack Landrum, Lamon Wilson, Daron Armstrong, David Long, and Timmy and Marion Lane.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Texico Assembly of God Church, Texico, New Mexico.
