Marilyn J. Tyson, 72, of Clovis, died Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.
She was born on Oct. 31, 1931, in Chanute, Kan., to Virgil E. and Dorothy Ruth Koepping Tyson.
She was a purchasing agent for the Pathology Lab in Santa Monica, Calif. She was of the Protestant Faith. Family members said she loved to work in her yard, read, and complete jigsaw puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include two sisters, Margie Tyson of Clovis, and Bette Tyson of Albuquerque.
The Rev. Dick Ross will officiate the services.
Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Tony Angle, Lee Eulenbach, Randy Harris, Frank Muscato, Teddy Hartley, Bill Kinyon, Richard Kelley, John Bourne, and Robert Sanchez.
