Mr. Victor Eric Montoya Estrada, 19, of Clovis, a carpenter, died Monday, July 26, 2004, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.
He was born on April 3, 1985, in Clovis, to Tommy Montoya and Victoria Estrada.
Family members said he loved basketball, football, and camping.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lucy Estrada; his grandfather, Fidel Montoya; two great-grandmothers, Andrita Urioste and Margaret Armijo; two great-grandfathers, Victor Apodaca and Juan Armijo; and three cousins, Regina McCollum, Joe Gallegos, and Mark Dodge.
Survivors include his parents, Victoria Estrada and Tommy Montoya; a daughter, Allianna Nevaeh Estrada Sanchez; his grandparents, Luis R. Estrada and Miguel and Rita Dodge; three brothers, Louie Estrada (and wife, Yvonne), Jesse Estrada (Sarafine) and David Navares (Stephanie); two sisters, Anita Estrada (Robert) and Juanita Navares; seven nephews; and seven nieces.
Father Sotero Sena will officiate the services.
Burial will be at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis.
Pallbearers are Cliff Martinez, Charlie Dodge, Jason Gallegos, Leroy Salinas, D.J. Garcia, Nathan Garcia and Dallion Babbit.
Honorary pallbearers are Bobby Sanchez, Robert Hermosillo, Steven Garcia, Chad Roybal, Max Galvaldon, Mikey Dodge, Brian Garcia, Ernie Garcia and John Black Estrada.
Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.
