Miss Cindy Lue Meeks, 30, of Farwell, died Wednesday, July 7, 2004, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.
She was born on Aug. 2, 1973, in Clovis, to Jimmy and LaWanda Meeks.
Family members said she was a friend to all who knew her. She loved going to church, being around little children and her favorite thing was Pepsi. She had been a volunteer for the church food bank, was active in a prayer group in Clovis and enjoyed babysitting her cousins. She was a member of High Plains Baptist Church.
Survivors include her parents; a brother, Scott Meeks (and wife, Jodi) of Farwell; her grandparents, Grover and Doris Meeks and Buck and Opal Yell, all of Farwell; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The Rev. Bobby Atwell and the Rev. Oral Hardin will officiate the services.
Burial will be at Sunset Terrace Memorial Cemetery in Farwell.
Pallbearers are Jory Mcintosh, Levon McClelland, Nick and Nathan Richardson, Justin and Trenton Meeks, Kip Atwell and Justin Lusk.
Honorary pallbearers are Amy Cumpton, Gil DeLeon, Eric Drager, Brad Atwell and Almeta Jackson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Baptist Children’s Home in Portales.
