Mr. Kenneth DeWayne Cooley, 50, of Clovis, a registered nurse, died Sunday, May 16, 2004, at his home.
He was born on April 15, 1954, in Belen, to Kenneth and Donna Hodge Cooley.
He was a registered nurse at Plains Regional Medical Center. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad and owned Pax Key Shop before returning to school to study nursing. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of Clovis Masonic Lodge #40 A.F.&A.M. Family members said he was an avid chef and gardener and he left his footprints in the hearts of all his friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Survivors include a companion, Ray Munoz of Clovis; his father, Maurice McGill of Clovis; a sister, Cynthia Myers (and husband, Billy) of Clovis; a niece, Brittany Duffield of Clovis; two aunts, Martha Ravan of Albuquerque and Phyllis Lewis of Clovis; and an uncle, James Hodge of Hereford, Texas.
Cremation will take place.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or American Cancer Society.
