Lois White, 87, of Clovis, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2004, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.
She was born Jan. 17, 1917, in South Texas to Roy and Clara Jones.
She crocheted and quilted for the public. Family members said she loved animals and entertaining friends. They said she was a witness for the Lord and loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, O.C. White; and five siblings, Walter Jones, Mamie Beevers, Florence Brady, Addie Jones and Jessie Jones.
Survivors include a brother, Jimmie Jones, of Albuquerque; a sister, Allie Hoyt, of Groom, Texas; children, Carrel Lee (and wife Margie) White, of Albuquerque, Ruby Redus, of Purcell, Okla., Calvin (and Lynda) White, of Grady, Peggy (and Don) Cross and Jerry (and Susan) White, all of Clovis; grandchildren, Brenda (and Rick) Adcock and Kenneth White, all of Albuquerque, Linda (Dan) Cassidy of Fulton, Mo., Michael (and Kathy) Redus, of Wayne, Okla., Jacque (and Earl) Wright of Lexington, Okla., Mandy Redus of Purcell, Okla., Bret (and Jane) Cross of Syracuse, N.Y., Desiree (and Steve) Henthorn, Krystie (and Kelly) Tindle, Clinton (and Mel) White, Stephanie White and Amanda White, all of Clovis, Wayne (and Sherrie) White, of Denver, Colo., Weston White, of Roswell, and Carrel White, of Grady; 27 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Burial will be at Grady Cemetery in Grady.
Pallbearers will be Cobey Isbell, Kelly Tindle, Bret Cross, Colt Cross, Steve Henthorn, Carrel White, Wayne White and Clinton White.
Honorary pallbearers will be Harvey Hamlett, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to an Alzheimer’s organization.
