William “Willie” Sandoval

William “Willie” Sandoval, 68, of Clovis, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, at his home.
He was born on April 18, 1935, in Clovis, to Antonio and Seripia Sena Sandoval.
He was a butcher at the Swift Plant for 20 years. He was a member at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Family members said he enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and watching wrestling.
He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Tillie Bentancourt; and a brother, Jimmy Sandoval.
Survivors include three daughters, Susan Ortiz (and husband, Noel) of Bovina, Judy Rodriguez (Jacob) of Clovis and Loreece Gauna (Jesse) of Pasadena, Texas; two sons, William Sandoval (Sophia) of Houston and Joseph Sandoval (Shelly) of Clovis; his mother; two brothers, Albert and Manuel Sandoval, both of Clovis; a sister, Felipa Duran of Clovis; 14 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A rosary is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday at Muffley Chapel in Clovis.
Deacon Daniel Chavez will officiate the services.
Pallbearers are William, Joseph and Daniel Sandoval, Noel Ortiz Jr., Jacob Rodriguez Jr., Adam Rodriguez, Michael Ortiz and Eddie Gallegos.
Honorary pallbearers are his other grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
