Hazel Jean “MeeMee” Fradue, 66, of Portland, Ore., died Monday, Nov. 17, 2003.
She was born on Oct. 18, 1937, in Littlefield, Texas, to James and Helen Moorer.
She graduated from Dunbar High School in Littlefield, Texas. She moved to Portland in the 1960s and attended bible college. She married Stark Fradue. She was employed with Portland Air Base, Albina Head Start and the Louise Memorial Day Care.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a sister, Mary Moorer; and two brothers, Johnny Ray Moorer and Leroy Teal.
Survivors include an adopted daughter, LaTanya D. Lacey Fradue; two grandsons, Joe Nathan Hollinquest Jr. and Anthoney LaRay Barber; five brothers, Jewell Moorer, Eddie Sims and A.J. Moorer, all of Portland, James Moorer Jr. of St. Paul, Minn., and Billy Gene Moorer of Clovis; and five sisters, Clarice Barber and Helen Ramzy, both of Portland, Dorothy Shaw of Clovis, and Iretta Anderson and Inetta Freeman, both of Roswell.
Harry Daniels Jr. officiated the services.
Burial was at Lincoln Memorial Park in Portland.
Arrangements were by Killingsworth Little Chapel of the Chimes of Portland.
