Estelle Ellen Davis, 79, of Clovis, died Friday, Feb. 13, 2004, at Laurel Plains Healthcare in Clovis.
She was born on Feb. 7, 1925, in Nova Scotia, Canada, to Peter and Frances Humick.
She married Edward W. Davis on April 15, 1948, in Detroit. She came to Clovis in 1960. She was district manager at the Clovis News Journal. She was of the Catholic faith, attended the Salvation Army and she liked to tend to her garden.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother-in-law, Edgar Davis; a sister, Ann Hornsby; and three brothers, Mike Holmes, Robert Humick and William Humick.
Survivors include a son, Edward W. Davis Jr. of Clovis; and a daughter, Frances Davis of Clovis.
Hector Diaz will officiate the services.
Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.
Pallbearers are the members of the Salvation Army and the D.A.V.
Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
