Snow cancels Clovis school classes

Clovis public schools canceled classes on Thursday because of snow and icy conditions, according to school officials and Cory Adair, co-owner of Adair Bus, which provides transportation for the schools.

Weather officials said many areas in eastern New Mexico received more than two inches of snow.

Here’s a rundown of other area schools:
 Clovis Christian schools were closed.
 Farwell schools were scheduled to start at regular times.
 Muleshoe schools were scheduled to start at regular times.
 Portales closed were closed.
