Notes: The Greyhounds and Buffaloes are part of a four-way tie for the South lead with Midwestern State (13-6 overall) and Texas A&M-Kingsville (12-7). … Shawn Scanlan coached his 100th game at ENMU in Saturday’s 83-78 win over Angelo State at Greyhound Arena. He’s 52-48, but 48-26 since the team went just 4-22 in his first season (2000-01). … The Buffs are 5-4 on the road, winning four of their last five away from home. They’ve won 10 of their last 12 overall. … Although they’re just 10-48 all-time against WT, the Hounds have won three of the last four meetings after losing 12 in a row. … In Saturday’s 76-61 win over Abilene Christian, witnessed by a season-best crowd of 2,302 at the WT Event Center, 6-1 senior G Rod Prater scored 20 of his game-high 27 points in the second half for the Buffs while 6-7 junior F Richard Higginbotham compiled his second double-double of the season (16 points, 10 rebounds). … Prater is second in the LSC in scoring (20.2 ppg), while 6-2 junior G Carl Lamb (12.2), 6-4 senior P Jason Campbell (11.0) and 6-4 senior G Eduardo Caviglia (10.7) also average in double figures. … WT ranks first in the LSC in 3-point percentage (.401) and second in FG percentage (.483), FT percentage (71.3) and 3-pointers made (156). … Keenan Hooker, a 6-0 sophomore G who played for ENMU during the first semester in 2001-02, is 13th in the league in 3-point percentage (.412).
