Lola “Lolita” Martinez, 41, of Clovis died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2004, at her home.
She was born on April 7, 1962, in Muleshoe, to Guadalupe and Sara Castillo Martinez.
She came to Clovis in 1990. She worked as a meat trimmer for Excel Meat Packing and at Blancha’s Crafts. Family members said she enjoyed making crafts for baby showers and weddings. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include two sisters, Guadalupe “Lupe” Martinez of Clovis and Janie Favila (and husband, Adalberto) of Farwell; three nieces, Yvette Favila, Yvonne Favila and Yliana Favila, all of Farwell.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Clovis.
The Rev. Sotero Sena will officiate the services.
Pallbearers will be Roman Chavez, Adalberto Favila, Eleodoro Macias, Rick Alcon, Santiago Olivas and Frank Gonzalez.
Honorary pallbearers are dialysis patients.
Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
