Mr. Mark Anthony Trujillo Sr., 47, of Clovis, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003, at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo.
He was born on May 7, 1956, in Clovis, to Tommy and Helen Garcia Trujillo.
He was a lifetime resident of Clovis and graduated from Clovis High School. He was on the undefeated 1973 state champion football team as the quarterback under coach Dunny Goode. He married Stephanie Martinez on March 29, 2002, in Clovis. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Paula Trujillo and Concepcion and Rosita Garcia; and a granddaughter, Angelica Lira.
Survivor include his wife; two daughters, Kendra Garcia Trujillo and Elena Diana Trujillo, both of Clovis; two sons, Mark Trujillo Jr. of Tucson, Ariz., and Francisco Thomas Concepcion Trujillo of Clovis; his parents; two sisters, Phyllis Quintana and Maria “Pita” Gutierrez, both of Clovis; three brothers, Tommy Joe Trujillo and George Trujillo, both of Clovis and Troy Trujillo of Amarillo; two granddaughters, Destiny and Savannah Garcia, both of Clovis.
Father Sotero Sena will officiate the services.
Cremation will take place with no viewing.
Honorary pallbearers will be nephews, Dominic Quintana, Jose and Ignacio Gutierrez and Michael and George Trujillo Jr.
Memorial contributions s may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Youth Group, in care of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Clovis.
