Martha “Ileen” Purselley Hungate, 83, of Westminster, Calif., formerly of Clovis, a homemaker, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003, at Orange Grove Rehabilitation Hospital in Garden Grove, Calif.
She was born on Sept. 10, 1920, in Texico, to Joe and Ann Purselley.
She was a 1939 graduate of Clovis High School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Westminster, Calif. and the First Baptist Church in Clovis
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Myrl Hanks and Derrell Purselley; and her husband, D. Ray Hungate.
Survivors include daughters, Prudence Hungate of Westminster, Calif., and Raleen Hockenberry (and husband, Darryl) of Scotts Mills, Ore.; a son, Clovis Hungate (Lou) of Tucson, Ariz.; granddaughter and great-granddaughter, Dawn and Kayley Edwards of Rocklin, Calif.
The Rev. Joel Horne will officiate the services.
Burial will be at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis.
Pallbearers will be Gary Hanks (nephew), Rocky Williams (cousin), Cruz Alambar, Tim Sambrano, Cliff Elliott and Bob White.
