Mr. Patrick H. Campbell, 75, of Clovis, a structural engineer, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2003, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.
He was born on Sept. 27, 1927, in Chicago to Patrick and Ida Miller Campbell.
He was a Navy veteran during World War II. He married Norma Dechant on Aug. 29, 1953, in Denver. He graduated from the University of Colorado in 1955. He had been a resident of Clovis since 1973 where he worked at the Civil Engineer’s office at Cannon Air Force Base. He retired in 1988. Family members said he was a loving father and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Stephen Campbell (and wife, Daveda) of Friendswood, Texas, Christopher Campbell (Virginia) of Dallas and Joseph Campbell (Eva) of Albuquerque; two daughters, Maura Kingston of Clovis and Susan Fitzgibbon (Maurice) of Tybee Island, Ga.; a sister, Joan Campbell of New Orleans; and 10 grandchildren.
Father Carlos Chavez will officiate the services.
A rosary will be held prior to the mass.
Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.
Pallbearers will be Christopher, Stephen and Joseph Campbell and Gerald Fitzgibbon.
Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home in Clovis.
