Here are recent dispositions recorded in 9th Judicial District Court:
– Albert Joseph Armijo, 21, pleaded guilty June 11 to possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), both fourth-degree felonies. Sentencing deferred 18 months and placed on three years supervised probation with special conditions of six months inpatient rehabilitation, $100 DNA testing fee, and lab fees.
– Lorenzo Chavez, 51, pleaded guilty June 12 to escape from jail and contempt of court. Sentenced to 7 months and 23 days on contempt charge with credit for 237 days served, and 364 days in Curry County Adult Detention Center on escape charge with no possibility of good time credit.

– Frederico Ortiz, 52, pleaded guilty June 2 to possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and admitted to violating probation on prior conviction. Probation revoked and sentenced to 364 days in county jail with credit for 79 days served, plus 10 additional days imposed on June 9 to pay $426 fine.
– Raymundo Sunigo, 36, pleaded guilty June 2 to driving while license revoked and speeding 11-15 mph over limit. Sentenced to 90 days unsupervised probation, $1,398 fines and costs.
– Josephine M. Ornelas, 29, pleaded guilty June 2 to unlawful use of driver’s license, driving while suspended, and speeding. Sentenced to 90 days probation and $202 fine on first and second count; sentencing deferred on speeding.
– Luis Lopez, 16, pleaded guilty June 2 to careless driving and no insurance. Placed on 90 days unsupervised probation and ordered to pay $98 costs.
– Stephanie Cordova Saenz, 38, pleaded guilty June 2 to driving while intoxicated, first offense, open container of alcohol, and headlight violation. Sentenced to 90 days in county jail. Suspended and placed on 364 days supervised probation with special conditions of alcohol abuse screening and counseling, 48 hours community service, attending MADD victim panel and DWI school, ignition interlock, and $1,412 costs.
– Heather L. Childress, 25, pleaded guilty June 2 to driving while license suspended. Sentenced to 364 days in county jail with all but 30 days suspended and $359 costs.
– Brandon Leon Lunsford, 22, pleaded no contest June 2 to speeding, failure to maintain traffic lane, no turn signal, and driving while intoxicated, first offense. Sentenced to 90 days in county jail, suspended. Placed on 364 days supervised probation with special conditions of alcohol abuse screening and counseling, attending MADD victim panel and DWI school, ignition interlock, and $2,051 fines and costs.
— Stephanie Mathis, 30, pleaded not guilty Dec. 22 to battery on a household member. Found guilty June 2 in bench trial and sentenced to $2,210 fine and 364 days in county jail. Jail time and $800 of fine suspended. Placed on 364 days supervised probation with special condition of attending anger management classes.
– Rick Luvell, 25, pleaded no contest June 2 to battery on a household member. Sentencing deferred and placed on 364 days unsupervised probation with $1,051 costs and bond.
